1. Lectrosonics' UHF wireless equipment made since 1998 is capable of operating in a single 25.6 MHz or smaller tuning band located inside the frequency range of 470 MHz to 860 MHz depending on various countries’ regulations. In the U.S., we also have block 944 which operates from 944.100 MHz to 951.900 MHz. It is not necessary at this time to change or replace equipment operating in the 944 MHz block.

2. The Model designator or number for all Lectrosonics' units is clearly marked on the front panel.The Model designator may also appear on the rear panel or on a side panel. The model number DOES NOT designate the frequency of operation.

3. The specific frequencies of operation for all Lectrosonics' wireless equipment that has small rotary, frequency selection switches will be clearly marked near those rotary frequency switches. An example is "Block 24 614.400 - 639.900 MHz". For this example, the lowest frequency of operation is 614.400 MHz and the highest is 639.400 MHz. On newer equipment with LCD displays, the current operating frequency is displayed on the LCD. The range of frequencies of possible operation is marked on an engraved plate on one side of the unit. An example of a different block is "Block 29 742.4 - 767.900 MHz".

5. The table below also lists whether a unit can be modified for a fee to operate in a new frequency band.

The following units do not operate above 700 MHz and are outside the 700 MHz band already:

Any "30" series model number such as M30, R30, R31, etc.

Any "170" series model number such as M170, M175, CR175, R175, H175 etc.

Any "180" series such as M180, M185, M187, CR185, R185, H185, H187 etc.

Any "190" series such as M190, CR190, etc.

Any "195" series such as M195, UT195, H195, R195, UDR195, UCR195, UCR195D, etc.

Any "700" series such as UT700, UM700, R700, etc.

Any "Long Ranger" models.

Model Number or other identifying information can be located on Silk-screen on each unit.

The following models operate in the 700 MHz band if there is a "C" at the end of the model number.  There is both an original version and a "G2" (generation 2) version for each model number.  Examples:  SK 100-C, EM 500 G2-C.  These units also have the operating range marked on a label that can be found either on the housing or in the battery compartment.

The following models have their operating frequencies or range marked on a label that can be found either on the housing or in the battery compartment.

On handheld or bodypack components, the model number can be found on a label on the back of the unit or inside the battery compartment. On tabletop or rackmount components, the label is located on the rear panel or on the bottom of the unit.
